Head of the marketing team at the Awear SA fashion show Zihle Mciteka talks about the campus initiative and how it came about.
The AwearSA Fashion Show is a fashion show that wants to bring uneducated but passionate students to a fashion world that is fed by giving back.
The proceeds of the fashion show go to the student finance fund of the University of the Western Cape.
Head of the marketing team at the Awear SA fashion show Zihle Mciteka called for students to take part in the fashion show.
She says that 200 people answered the call, which was surprising.
Students do not read their e-mails so I was very surprised when people in the bootcamp saw Mciteka.
She adds that you usually have a few people who come to campus events.
The bootcamp showed us what we would do in the coming days.
