Four men suspected of a fatal shooting in Tongat, south of Durban on Tuesday, have been arrested, police said Wednesday.
"Four suspects were arrested in Tongaat immediately after a shooting incident yesterday, their guns, including three guns and a pistol, were seized and subjected to ballistic tests to confirm that they were used during shooting," police spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Thulani said. Zwane.
The men, between 24 and 37 years old, will soon appear in the Verulam Magistrate & Court on the charge of murder and attempted murder.
Zwane said the men attacked a VW Polo on Tuesday in the CBD, in which four men were traveling.

Zwane said the driver of the vehicle was already dead when the police arrived.
"It is claimed that there was a gunfight between the VW Polo occupants and the guards who were in a Toyota Hilux bakkie." The motive for the shooting is unknown, "Zwane said.
He said that two others in the vehicle were also injured.
Head of the local security firm Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) Prem Balram said the shooting could be linked to taxi violence.
Zwane, however, said that the motive was still unknown.
