Second Sanco KZN official got the boat

They also claimed that Moodley was started because he was about to file the financial reports of the organization for the NEC.

Sanco in KZN accuses Mpanza of wasting funds that Moodley was about to reveal during his presentation of the financial report.

Mkhungo claimed that Mpanza Moodley could not have provided information about the development of government funding of approximately R2 million and about R3 million in the administrative account of the organization.

He also revealed that Sanco could be prosecuted by the Durban International Convention Center because of his aborted national conference that was due to take place between 23 and 25 March.

"We had secured the ICC and we had secured transport for delegates from all provinces, we had secured accommodation for delegates in hotels, but on 21 March we received correspondence from the general secretary who said that financiers felt it was too expensive and we have to hold our conference in Carnival in Gauteng, "he said.

He said that the organization owes the ICC about R2.2 million for the canceled conference and that the booking agent has threatened to go to court if he does not receive the money.

The provincial leadership of Sanco has bombed the organization to the reluctance of Mpanza and Sanco president Richard Mdakane to give up their positions.

Mpanza did not respond immediately to TimesLIVE, but in a response to Mail and Guardian he denied all financial irregularities and said that Mkhungo could have expressed his grievances through an "internal" process instead of the media.
