An electrical failure of the Provincial Energy Company (EPE) left this afternoon without drinking water to almost all of Rosario, Villa Gobernador Gálvez and Funes. Van Aguas Santafesinas estimated that the supply will be normalized in the early hours of the morning, so they advised to make responsible use of the available reserves in each house.
The problem arose around 3.30 pm in a food cell of the EPE, which supplies the energy supply to the water purification plant of Aguas Santafesinas de French and Avellaneda. This damage left 75 per cent of the city without water, Villa Gobernador Gálvez and Funes, with the exception of the northern part of the city, Baigorria Grenadier and Capitán Bermúdez, which are supplied by the Gran Rosario aqueduct.
"At 15.30 hours we are without power from the Provincial Energy Company, product of a fault in a cell outside our factory, but that feeds us to capture, process and distribute the stock," he said. to The capital the manager of institutional relations of Aguas Santafesinas (Assa), Guillermo Lanfranco.
To that extent, they indicated that technical equipment from the company supplying electrical power evaluated the damage caused in that transforming cell, which led them to believe that the electrical damage for the 21 could be resolved.
In this way, the drinking water service is gradually restored during the night, as a result of the time required to put the system under pressure to be able to restore the supply in its entirety. "We calculate that we will have the normalized service between midnight and the first hours of the morning", she assured herself of Assa.
However, they advised the population to make responsible use of the water reserve in private homes to prevent the supply from being exhausted.
