The incidents were recorded in the afternoon of Saturday, in a Carrefour in the city of Tupungato and a branch of the Atomo chain in the San Martin district.
Twenty detainees and four injured policemen were the result of two attempts to plunder the Mendoza supermarkets, convened via social networks.
The incidents were recorded in the Carrefour in the city of Tupungato during the afternoon of Saturday, located on Belgrano Street, in front of the clock roundabout and at the branch of the Atomo chain in the San Martín district.
Both facts were added to other similar ones that were registered during Friday's day in the branches Guaymallén and Luján de Atom and in a Chinese supermarket from Godoy Cruz.
As reported by the Uno newspaper, in Tupungato, a group of people gathered together via WhatsApp on the pavement of the Carrefour branch with the intention of violently entering and collecting merchandise.
At one point, and despite the fact that a police cell phone was in place, about 15 people entered the building, although the arrival of more troops prevented them from leaving the assembly.
Neighbors from Tupungato recorded several episodes of the attack on trade and the negative reaction of ordinary customers on video.
As a result of the clashes with the police, the Ministry of Security reported that four uniformed personnel members were slightly injured.
In the neighborhood of San Martín del Atom there was also an attempt to enter violently, so that members of the infantry watched a rope at the door.
In the area there were skirmishes where arrests took place, which later generated a stone attack at the police station and demanded the release of the arrested.
