The railway unions lift the planned train stop for Tuesday – Télam

The railway unions have ruled out the 24-hour work stoppage planned for tomorrow after they signed a pay contract with the government, trade union officials said.

The head of the railway union, Sergio Sassia, told Telam that "we are currently signing an agreement that would make the force ineffective".

The protest would have an impact on the short, medium and long distance services required for a revision of the joint agreement signed last April.

The strike was convened by the Railway Union (UF), La Fraternidad, the Association of Signatories (ASFA) and the Association of the Personnel of the Argentine Railways (APDFA).
