Four people have been arrested after police pursued vehicles involved in a chain of offenses committed on several hours today.
A stolen Holden Commodore ute and a green Commodore wagon were chased or tracked from about 8am to 1pm in between Geelong and Melbourne's western suburbs.

Police then checked the vehicle as it travels erratically around Geelong and the western suburbs.
It was then spotted at a Geelong shopping center before a fled and stole a green wagon.
They were arrested after allegedly trying to carjack another vehicle.
The driver was detained soon after the Hamilton Highway at Inverleigh.
Two men, a woman and a teenage girl are currently in custody.
Police had earlier warned other drivers to be vigilant.
"We ask the community to be mindful and cautious on roads within the area," a Victoria Police spokeswoman said.
"Any motorists who see the vehicle are urged not to engage it or the occupants."
