The scandal-bogged R & B singer R. Kelly will tour in Australia next year and play a handful of shows across the country.
The Ignition singer, 51, plays shows in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney on a tour called King or R & B & # 39 ;.
While Kelly was R & B royalty in the 1990s, he became embroiled in a series of sex scandals in recent years.
The singer dropped a 19-minute single-title I admit in July to "put the facts right" about multiple allegations of sexual misconduct that he has been dealing with for years.
In the song, Kelly admitted that he had "made mistakes" but said he did not abuse or sexually abuse women. R. Kelly has been accused by several women of running a "sex cult," brainwashing, and sexual abuse of women, including some teenagers.
He has repeatedly denied the claims.
In May, a woman named Faith Rodgers claimed it I believe I can fly singer "mental, sexual and verbal" abused her during an approximately year-long relationship, according to a civil claim.
She claimed that Kelly sexually abused and humiliated her, locked her in rooms and vehicles for punishment and infected her with herpes.
A three-part docuserie about the singer, Survivor R. Kelly, will be broadcast on American television in January, just a month before Kelly's Australian tour. The series will give a voice to many of Kelly's alleged victims, who go against him with harrowing accusations of sexual, mental and physical abuse.
