A woman fights for life and two others were taken to the hospital after a crash of two vehicles in Macquarie Park.
Emergency services were called to Lane Cove Road at Macquarie Park on Friday mornings at approximately 12.40 am after reports of a collision between a Toyota Camry and a Honda Accord.
A female passenger of the Honda sedan was thrown out of the side window of the vehicle when the two cars collided and was overtaken by when she landed on the road.
Witnesses to the incident stopped to help the woman and had to lift the vehicle on top of her before emergency services arrived.
She was treated on the spot by NSW Ambulance Paramedics before she was brought to Royal North Shore Hospital in a critical condition. The male driver of the Honda and his second female passenger were not injured.
The driver of the Toyata and passenger, both men, were also taken to the Royal North Shore Hospital, but with non-life-threatening injuries.
