Anthem & # 39; s new trailer Brings attention to Storytelling

Needless to say that one of the biggest games of this year's E3 was EA and BioWare & # 39; s Anthem. As an always online experience, the amount of real content and story for one player was one of the many concerns around the game. Many fans compared their impressions with Destiny, which never ceased to impress during development, but had offered too many promises for a story that did not exist at the time the title was launched in 2014. So how does the experience of a player add to the National Anthem Comparison? EA and BioWare have released a trailer that discusses the development of your character in the course of the game and the relationships you will take on the road.

It is clear that BioWare is trying to find their happy medium between the heavy story-driven experiences they are known for, with the always live shared world experience. The "My Story", single player aspect of the game seems to have been separated from Fort Tarsis, where you will build links with your personal pit crew. The trailer also indicates that your & # 39; shadowy figures & # 39; you may encounter that may cause a necessary conflict for your journey. BioWare has taken on an ambitious venture and it seems that they are aware of the missteps of Destiny. Whether or not this balancing act pays for EA and BioWare is still a question waiting to be answered.

We do not have to wait long because Anthem falls on February 22, 2019 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. You can also watch 20 minutes of gameplay that BioWare showed in July, as well as a few remarks from BioWare general manager Casey Hudson about how the game is still a choices-based experience.
