New smartphones with flagship are some of the most watched secrets of technology and although leaks often occur a month or two before an official release, there is usually enough mystery to keep things interesting until that time.
But in an almost incredible turnaround, Russian blog Rozetked seems to have joined hands on a completed Google Pixel 3 XL and some photos posted for the world to see.
But wait, you say. Google has not even announced an official date for a Pixel launch event, so how would this Russian blog get a completed Pixel 3 XL? Well, according to a few people on Twitter, an unknown source may have stolen a shipment of Pixel phones on the way before sending a device to the Russian blog.
This series of events was not explicitly confirmed by Rozetked, but in translating the blog post from Russian to English, one section says: "Google has made a big mistake and two months before the release of the smartphone has finished a game gadgets. "
Wow. And it seems that Rozetked was not the only site that could get a Pixel 3 XL, while another Russian vlogger visiting Wylsacom put more photos of a similar device on Twitter.
If the device shown above is legitimate, and if the rest is the information posted by Rozetked, what does this tell us about the upcoming Pixel 3 XL?
The first big takeaway is that gigantic notch at the top of the screen, which, combined with the large bottom of the phone, makes for a pretty awkward looking device. Judging from the two grids on the top and bottom of the phone, it is probably safe to say that the Pixel 3 will keep the dual stereo speakers at the front, just like on the Pixel 2.
Unfortunately, it seems one thing that Google has not implemented to the next generation Pixels their unique, two-tone color scheme. On the back of the illustrated device it looks completely white. Earlier, even on Pixel 2 & # 39; s with one color, Google had a small glass section that contrasted with the matte metal on the back of the device.
Another important thing to note is the alleged Pixel 3 XL camera, which Rozetked claims it will surpass the imaging capabilities of other high-end smartphones again. The Russian site placed a separate story and a few Instagram photo photos with photos made with the alleged Pixel 3 XL, and they look pretty impressive. That said, it is difficult to judge image quality without having another photo from another device to use as a comparison.
Specifically, the Pixel 3 XL reportedly has a display of 2960 x 1440 and a Snapdragon 845 processor running Android 9 Pie, and those are all things we expected from a new flagship Pixel. Unfortunately Rozetked did not mention the actual size of the screen of the device.
In the box, it looks like the Pixel 3 XL comes with a double-sided USB-C cable and USB-C power, a bundled USB-C to headphone jack-dongle and an OTG adapter for transferring data from one phone to another. Finally, it appears that the Pixel 3, according to the leaked photos, contains a wired version of the Pixel Buds Google released last year, but without seeing them in action, it's hard to tell if these wired versions the on-the-fly would contain translation or Google Assistant functions that made the Pixel Buds so interesting.
We contacted Google for an official statement about this alleged Pixel 3 XL leak. However, since the company's official policy is not to comment on rumors or speculation, the statement we receive may not clarify anything.
