Campbell & # 39; s opponents beat back. First, rats are rats and not humans. And: laboratory rats are genetically modified, so they can develop cancer quickly, for example. This speeds up and reduces the costs of the experiments. For the first strain used by Campbell, rats that received only 5% casein had no cancer because they died earlier.

Some things are common among the line: Campbell, Ornish and all low-carb and paleo agents agree that sugar, refined grain products and industrial foods such as bars, sweet drinks or sweetened muesli should be avoided that can be harmful to stress, smoking is deadly and exercise is essential.

Diets with low carbohydrates can offer benefits to those who already suffer from high blood pressure, diabetes or insulin resistance. Low carb can also help with cancer (ask your doctor). In addition, low carb is usually better maintained because fat and protein saturate, while high-carvers often find it difficult to process their hunger attacks.
