A brutal robbery in broad daylight on the public road came to Linz on Wednesday afternoon.
A 21-year-old local traveled around Freistädter Straße around 12:40 when suddenly surrounded by six robbers.
Without hesitation, the perpetrators – five asylum seekers from Afghanistan and one refugee from Pakistan between the ages of 14 and 25 – beat their victims with stone and wooden slats and robbed him of his cell phone and wallet.
Father of the victim and witnesses hastened to help
Only when several witnesses and the 21-year-old's father ran to help the Linzer, did the criminals leave their victim and run away, while concealing the prey while fleeing in a bush.
While the injured man came to the hospital, the police could arrest and arrest the gang. All six perpetrators were unequivocally recognized by the victim and the witnesses in a juxtaposition detention.
