On 24.08.2018 at 17.10 clock the crew of a helicopter of an Austrian company in the area of ​​the Vorderer Ampferkogel in the municipality of Längenfeld salvaged a mental ewe with its two lambs of impassable and rocky terrain, the pilot being his two marshaller on a altitude of 2500 meters down. In the subsequent attempt to catch the ewe, one of the two marshallers, a 45-year-old man from the Imst district, lost the stop and slipped into the water with grass and rock-streaked terrain over a rocky outcrop, where he was about 100-150 fell into the depths. The man suffered fatal injuries in the crash and was recovered by the Dragonfly police helicopter and taken to the valley.

In action, the mountain Längenfeld, the alpine police, the emergency ambulance Martin 8 and the police helicopter Libelle were saved.
