iOS 12 Public Beta 8 is here
That went fast. Only at the beginning of the week did Apple release after the problems Public Beta 7 for iOS 12 were redeveloped. Now the beta 8 has already been re-released in the public version. Until now, this was only available to developers. Apple is officially introducing iOS 12 next month – the development of the firmware for the iPhone and iPad is therefore in its final phase. The new functions in the current public beta 8 are correspondingly low. Apple is missing its system with the beta version earlier fine-tuning and delivers small bug fixes. As always, you can download the beta version when you sign up for the Apple Beta Program. The update comes OTA on your iPhone or iPad.
The developers among you now have access to the iOS 12 Beta 10 – but in principle it offers the same functions as the current public beta.

iOS 12 Public Beta 7 available
In addition to beta for developers, Apple regularly releases versions of the iOS 12 Beta that are accessible to everyone. All you have to do is register for the Apple Beta Software program. How this works in detail, you will find under the point "iOS 12 beta installation: how it works". Once you participate in the program, it is possible to receive the new Over the Air updates.
The eighth version of iOS 12 Beta is now available for developers. The public beta always runs behind a version number, so the iOS 12 Public Beta 7 is already available for download. However, this time there seems to be no major changes. Apple is now in the final phase with the twelfth version of its mobile operating system. It's about to start when the Cupertino iOS 12 company publishes the Fall Keynote within a month, hopefully smoothly. Compared to iOS 11, the new version will be delivered faster, more efficiently and with a whole range of new features. Apple offers an example on its own website. We have already described the changes in detail based on the previous beta versions:

iOS 12 Beta 8 is available for developers
For developers, Apple is currently implementing the iOS 12 Beta 8. It seems that the company Cupertino is abandoning the iOS 12 Beta 7 update, which caused some problems a few days ago. With the newest and eighth beta version, iOS 12 is running smoothly again, even though it is an over-the-air update. Since the update took place only a few days after the last beta version, the changes are small. TechReview shows in a video that only a small change has occurred in the widget area and that the shortcut can now be set separately.
With iOS 12 Beta 7, however, Apple has removed the group function from FaceTime. Moreover, this function should come back to iPhones and iPads after the official release of iOS 12. Furthermore, the seventh beta changed the icon for the Measure app and added some new features for iMessage. So there is now a new startup screen when the app is used for the first time. In addition, the Memojis can now be modified, as Apple has added new options here. In addition, the Do Not Disturb feature is now displayed on the lock screen when the mode ends.
The new iOS 12 Beta 8 comes with the build number 16A5357b and does not update via OTA after the first reports nor update problems via iTunes. Beta program participants must be aware, however, that an uninstalled Beta 7 must be removed from the iPhone or iPad before the eighth beta version is released.

iOS 12 Beta 7 provisionally withdrawn from the market
Just one week after the last beta, Apple released the seventh beta version for iOS 12 last night for developers. But it looks like there are a few performance problems this time around. These have appeared on devices that have received the update to the iOS 12 Beta 7 via OTA update (Over-the-air). After that time some developers reported to the company at Cupertino, Apple pulled the update out of circulation.
Since the performance issues did not occur in beta installations via iTunes and the IPSW file, the update was initially still available. But here too, Apple has temporarily withdrawn the seventh iOS 12 beta. It can be assumed that the update will be available in the coming days as an optimized version. Only then can we also indicate exactly what changes or changes the iOS 12 Beta 7 brings to Apple's mobile operating system.
Update from 07. August 2018
iOS 12 Beta 6 is available for developers
Just a week after the release of the latest beta version, the sixth developer beta for Apple's mobile operating system is already released. The iOS 12 Beta 6 comes with new features for the iPhone and iPad. Although the Apple Keynote makes great strides towards the official release in the fall and the changes become less visible, it has Apple Insider looked very closely – and so far some innovations have been found.
For example, the company Cupertino has changed a number of app start screens in the sixth beta. As soon as an app is used for the first time after downloading, a screen with a short description of the functions appears. Changes have been made to the App Store, iTunes Store, Books App, TV App and Music App. The pre-installed wallpapers have nothing new, but a change. On the one hand they are displayed in a different order. On the other hand, wallpapers delivered with iOS 10 are no longer available.
In addition, AirPlay gets a new icon on the lock screen. In addition, the iOS card app now has a thicker font. For the home app there is now less choice in the background images, the previously set will remain available first. Last but not least, the "Notifications Off" button in the horizontal view is now on the left.
It looks like it, so it is about the last hand on iOS 12, because so far no really big change in the sixth beta version became clear.
iOS 12 Public Beta 5 now publicly available
In addition, a new public beta is now available for download. The iOS 12 Public Beta 5 includes the same new features as the sixth version for developers. The public beta is now available as an OTA update, as long as you are registered for the beta program.
Which previous changes have taken place, you will read later in this article:
