Bangladesh has made a good start in hockey on Asian games Jimmy Chochars lost to Oman 2-1 in Jakarta.
Meanwhile, the team of the Bangladeshi man lost Kabaddi Thailand. The shooters of the 10 meter air rifle men and women category are however excluded from the qualification.
Arshad Hossain and Mohammad Ashraful Islam withdrew victory against Oman 2-1. The Bangladesh Hockey team raised the winnings. Bangladesh is playing their second game against Kazakhstan on 22 August.
Meanwhile, women beat Iran with 34-222 in their second game, Thailand men kabaddi team lost.
The qualifying round with 10 meters air rifle for men is dropped from Bangladesh, Abdullah Hale left and Risalatul Islam. The remaining 19 of the 44 people and Risalatul have turned 29.
The Umme Zakia Sultana of Bangladesh and Sharmin Akhter Ratna are excluded from the selection of 10-meter air rifle qualification for women.
