A majority of students in higher education drop out of school

A in mid-October, the orange code was activated in French-speaking universities and colleges, where 80% of the courses were virtual, except in the first year of the bac. Eight days later, the “red code” cleared their students’ campuses, aside from some practical work. With what consequences for their daily work? That is the question that the Federation of French-Speaking Students of Belgium tried to answer via a survey of the affiliated student councils. The survey collected 7,700 responses (one in 30 students from Wallonia-Brussels) from 3,650 academics, 3,433 secondary school students and 659 students from higher art education. To look at the question more fully, the FEF has sometimes differentiated between the students for whom it is the first year of higher studies, and the others.
