WWE SmackDown Dec 4th Recap

WWE SmackDown Orlando, ThunderDome

Commentators are Michael Cole and Corey Graves.

– Tonight is WWE SmackDown, the blue show kicks off with the Superstars taking to the stage in tribute to Pat Patterson. The bell rings 10 times, then the SmackDown intro starts. The commentators welcome us and Kayla Braxton is in the ring. She asks us to welcome Roman Reigns. The latter arrives accompanied by Jey Uso and Paul Heyman. A video of what happened last week is released.

Kayla Braxton asks Roman Reigns if he’s afraid of Kevin Owens. The Universal Champion replies that this is probably the biggest thing she’s done in WWE and she’s here to ask him a stupid question. We have an experienced guy with Michael Cole, we trust him to ask questions of the one at the end of the table, the Chef Tribal, and she asks him a stupid question … Next question. Braxton asks him if he’s using Jey Uso as a pawn and manipulates him.

Roman Reigns replies that those are stupid words for stupid people. Does he look like a manipulative man? He is a protector and he provides for the needs of the family. His cousin Jey Uso, half of the best team in a generation, what has he been up to in recent months? Did Braxton do her homework? Reigns tells Heyman to take care of this amateur girl. Heyman says audiences have increased in 2020 thanks to Jey Uso. He is cut off by the music of Kevin Owens arriving in the ring. He announced last week that he was not afraid of Reigns and since Reigns is not afraid of him, why wait? They can now and here! Heyman would pass the mic over to Reigns, but Uso takes his hand before saying they run this show and they accept.

Kevin Owens said he was talking to everyone at the end of the table. If not for now, why not at TLC? If Reigns is at the end of the table, have them add tables, ladders and chairs! Have him use his title like a man. If not, they can do this now. Reigns replies that he is not withdrawing from any man. He is not afraid of anyone. He accepts. If he was the man he was before, he’d kick her ass now. But there is a time and a place. He is a gentleman. There is a woman in the ring. Let Owens grow up.

Roman Reigns, Paul Heyman and Jey Uso leave the ring. Kevin Owens tells Roman Reigns he wants him to grow up, but he wants him to grow his balls because Reigns is just a slut!

Behind the scenes, Jey Uso says he may have crossed the line, but he had to stand up for the family. Roman Reigns tells him he remembers the consequences that he loves.

Commentators announce that Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens will face TLC in a TLC match.

– Bianca Belair is in the comments for the next game.

Daniel Bryan, Rey Mysterio et Big E vs Dolph Ziggler, Shinsuke Nakamura and Sami Zayn

At the end of the match, Sami Zayn does a Dropkick, followed by a Brainbuster on Daniel Bryan, and squeezes him, but Bryan gets up and rolls him up for the win.

Gagnants: Daniel Bryan, Rey Mysterio, and Big E

– After the match, the winners return to the ring and remove Shinsuke Nakamura and then Sami Zayn from the ring. Dolph Ziggler tries to form an alliance with the wrestlers, but Bryan catches him, followed by a 619 from Mysterio and a Big Ending from Big E.

Behind the scenes is Kayla Braxton with Kevin Owens. She asks him why he doesn’t like Roman Reigns. Owens replies that he respected and admired Reigns, but he has changed and that is despicable. Owens isn’t perfect, but he apologized to the staff and selection. Kalisto arrives and appears lost before leaving. Owens expresses his anger at Reigns, then Otis arrives. He’s looking forward to tonight’s game.

Behind the scenes, Carmella and Sasha Banks are each in a different room for the interview. Banks says she has something to say because Carmella has opened up quite a bit in recent weeks. Carmella isn’t a woman enough to attack him in the face, so now that she has her attention, it’s time to fix their issues. Cole asks about his response to Carmella’s comments about being her earlier. Banks says no, Carmella wishes she could be like her. Carmella says no, she doesn’t want to be a bad impersonation of Nicki Minaj. Cole says they know each other from the PC. Banks goes on to say that she trained with Carmella at the Performance Center and that she knows she is good, she was the first woman to win a Money in the Bank Ladder Match. Carmella stops telling her she has won the first two. Banks says she’s gotten nowhere without help. There’s a reason they’ve never seen each other 1v1: Carmella isn’t her level. Carmella says if she wants to make it personal, she’s fine with it.

She knows that Sasha Banks hates her because it wasn’t her dream to be a WWE Superstar. She arrived at the Performance Center and everything became natural for her. She flew on top of the industry. Banks smiles and says that if Carmella wants it, she’s got her title match on TLC, but she better realize she’s never gotten in the ring with such a mean bitch as she is. Carmella smiles and leaves.

Murphy arrives in the ring with the Mysterio family. King Corbin then makes his entrance with two men, Wesley Blake and Steve Cutler.

Kevin Owens and Otis enter the ring. Jey Uso then makes his entrance … without Roman Reigns.

Tag Team Match

Jey Uso and Roman Reigns v Otis and Kevin Owens

During the match, Roman Reigns comes in and Jey asks Uso for the tag. Reigns enters the ring before slapping his cousin’s hand and does a Superman Punch on Otis who was sitting on the platform. He continues his attack on Otis and continues the shots from the stairs. The referee does not stop the match.

At the end of the match, Jey Uso was going to tag Roman Reigns, but Kevin Owens countered and surprised Uso, followed by the pin. Reigns breaks the pin and the referee stops the match.

Winners: Otis and Kevin Owens – Via disqualification

– After the match, Jey Uso and Roman Reigns attack Kevin Owens and then chase after the wrestler. Reigns then hits Jey Uso with his chair! The show ends with Roman Reigns posing with the universal title belt on the floor next to Kevin Owens and Jey Uso.
