Delhaize calls for using listeria to bring back contaminated falafel

Delhaize asks its customers to bring the product "8 falafels chickpeas, carrots & cilantro" from Atelier Blini to their store. Quality control revealed the presence of listeria. "In consultation with the FASFC (Federal Agency for the Safety of the Food Chain) it was decided to recall these products," says the distribution chain. Delhaize has removed all the products involved from the shelves and strengthened the control over the product and the supplier. Customers who bought falafels are asked not to consume them. Customers can bring the product to the point of sale where they are reimbursed.

People who have used this uncooked product and have isolated fever or headache are advised to consult their physician.
