Forza Horizon 2 and all its expansions will permanently disappear from Xbox Live on September 30 due to copyright reasons.
While the fourth episode has just been announced, Microsoft announced this week that its ancestor, the excellent Forza Horizon 2, would be removed from the online gaming store on September 30th.
The Redmond company does not communicate the reasons for this deletion. However, it is very likely that the disappearance of Forza Horizon 2 from the Store is linked to a question of copyright on a song or a theme that is present in the soundtrack of the game.
Forza Horizon 2 is not the only game that has fallen victim to copyright. Microsoft had recently removed Alan Wake from his games catalog.
Note that in addition to the full game, all extensions with him will disappear on 30 September.
From that date it is no longer possible to buy the game, but those who had already bought the game – especially through the Games with Gold program – can still download the game.
