A safe escape for astronauts who slept when they were discovered. It was discovered by the flight controllers on Wednesday night in the Russian part of the satellite. The hole may have been caused by the impact of micrometeorite or space debris.

In anticipation of a complete repair procedure, the leak was temporarily sealed with special adhesive tape. At this moment, air is still escaping from the ISS, but at a very low speed. The astronauts inside have locked up the module where the perforation is located.
