Office 365: No More Facilities Limit for Subscribers

Microsoft removes the "installation limit" for all Office 365 subscribers.

Knowing the negative feedback from some users about the Office 365 installation limits, Microsoft has decided to remove this binding system and replace it with an effective usage limit.

In practice, Office 365 Home subscribers are currently limited to five installations and personal subscribers for only one facility.

Things will evolve from 2 October. Microsoft will allow all its subscribers to use Office 365 simultaneously on five machines – without restrictions on installations. A strategy change that also indicates the will to differentiate the different Office accounts no longer from the number of users, but from the extra services offered.
