The GTS label has existed for some time at Porsche, but it was not yet proposed to the current Panamera generation. It has now been done since Porsche makes the Panamera GTS official. Also offered on the yacht tourism Sport Turismo, this finish, like on the 911 or the Macan, brings a specific aesthetic. If the 4S and Turbo have a more oriented "road" in terms of presentation, this GTS plays the card of the sport.
The Sport Design package adds black accents everywhere: 20-inch specific wheels, shields or dark Alcantara upholstery. The steering wheel (Alcantara), aluminum inserts or special pallets are the basic elements that can be completed with almost countless options: all kinds of stitching, specific tachometer or color insertion, all of this is found in the inner GTS package (which is an option).
The now presented colors (red and green) are part of the specific presentation of the Panamera GTS, which experiences comfort elements such as a configurable head-up display, where you can choose the displayed color information.
The V8 of the Turbo has been drained
The Panamera and Panamera Sport Turismo GTS inherit the V8 4.0 biturbo from the Panamera Turbo. Except that here his power is deflated and goes from 550 to 460 hp (620 Nm of torque, all the same). The Panamera GTS is thus placed between the 4S model and the Turbo. If the latter is intended for fans of gears, the GTS will be more focused on owners who are looking for a bit of dynamics.
The Panamera GTS is entitled to a specific pneumatic suspension that is controlled (less than 10 mm compared to a conventional Panamera), while the box is imposed: it is the PDK double clutch and seven reports.
Generous brakes (390 mm at the front, 365 mm at the rear) slow the heat of this Panamera GTS which will soon be in the catalog at prices around 140 000 € (the final French prices n & # 39; not yet known) .
