friendship (choose at most one)

Contact
Someone with whom you know how to get in touch. Often symmetrical.
knowledge
Someone who has exchanged your greetings and not many (or maybe) more – maybe a short conversation or two. Often symmetrical.
friend
Someone with whom you are a friend. A countryman, friend, home (boy | girl) that you know. Often symmetrical.

physical

Met
Someone you actually met personally. Symmetric.

professional

colleague
Someone with whom someone works, or works at the same organization as. Symmetric. Usually transitive.
colleague
Someone in the same field of study / activity. Symmetric. Often transitive.

geographic (select up to one)

co-resident
Someone with whom you share a street address. Symmetric and transitive.
neighbor
Someone living in the neighborhood, perhaps only at an adjacent street address or in a doorway. Symmetric. Often transitive.

family (choose at most one)

child
A person's genetic offspring, or someone who has adopted a person and who cares for him. Inverse is older.
older
Inverse of child.
brother
Someone with whom someone has a parent. Symmetric. Usually transitive.
husband
Someone with whom you are married. Symmetric. Not transitive.
family
A family member, someone you regard as part of your family. Symmetrical and typically transitive.

romantic

muse
Someone who gets your inspiration. Not turned around.
crush
Someone you're in love with. Not turned around.
date
Someone with whom you are dating. Symmetric. Not transitive.
lover
Someone with whom you are intimate and at least somewhat dedicated, usually exclusive. Symmetric. Not transitive.

identity

me
A link to yourself on a different URL. Excluding all other XFN values. Requires symmetric. There is an implicit "I" relationship of the contents of a folder to the folder itself.
