After postponement, next Sunday | proof of the second phase of the OAB applied training



After four postponements due to the coronavirus pandemic, the proof of the second stage do XXXI Unified Order Examination of the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB) will be applied this Sunday (6th) throughout Brazil.

It is the first major national exam to be taken in person during the pandemic. 49,084 candidates are expected to the tests.

The exam takes place from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Orientation is arrive two hours in advance to avoid crowds.

In the state of SP alone, 10,000 candidates have been registered to take the test at 33 application points, representing an average of 303 candidates per test location.

The exam is optional. According to the OAB, anyone who does not want to take the test next Sunday will automatically be registered for the next edition of the exam, which has not yet been released.

To minimize possible transmission of the coronavirus, the OAB has taken the following preventive measures:

  • Gel alcohol in entrances, hallways, toilets and application areas
  • Thermometer to measure the temperature at the test sites
  • More expensive
  • Distance between test persons

The OAB exam, which will take place next Sunday, was scheduled for April 5. This is not the first time the race has had to be rescheduled.

In 2018, the field test took place in June in May, due to the truckers’ strike.

In 2016 there was a change in the date of the objective test in Salvador. From July it was August.

And in 2012 there was another application in Ipatinga (MG) due to a lack of electricity. The start date, December 16, has been moved to January 6, 2013.
