The Flu vaccination campaign will be given a new D-day this Saturday (18). Shopping centers and health clinics will offer the vaccine dose to the target group of the second phase of the campaign, which applies to elderly people from 60 years of age, children from 6 months to under 6 years of age, pregnant women, women in maternity ward, health workers, teachers from public and private services, with chronic diseases, as well as civilian police, military personnel, firefighters and active members of the armed forces.
It is expected that 262 thousand people will be immunized in the capital of Bahia. In the city, only 54.1% of the target population has already visited the stations, while in Bahia 52.38% of the population is immunized. At national level the coverage was 56% – the data is from this Wednesday (15).
In Salvador all health posts will offer immunization. To reach a greater number of people, places such as schools, crèches, churches, transfer stations, supermarkets and shopping centers, as well as neighborhood prefectures, will also distribute doses of the vaccine.

The Lapa station will receive the vaccine on Friday (17) from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the transfer station.
The Lapa shopping center has a vaccination center on Saturday (18), from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., on the L3 floor, near Loja Riachuelo.
Salvador Norte Shopping also receives a place on the L1 floor, in front of Caixa Econômica Federal, on Saturday (18) from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The flu vaccine will remain available to the population until 31 May.
