The National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES) has approved a financing of R $ 125 million for the establishment of a milk powder factory and a pig production unit of the Castrolanda Cooperativa Agroindustrial in Paraná, BNDES statement released on Monday.
The plant will be opened in August 2019, with a production capacity of three tons per hour, and will be linked to an existing milking unit, while the piglet unit must be ready in January of next year and capacity to accommodate 6,500 headquarters in Castro (PR) .
"The BNDES support will promote an increase in efficiency gains and an increase in the production capacity of Castrolanda and will contribute to the generation and distribution of revenues in the field for the members, employees and partners of the cooperative," said the bank in a statement. .
Castrolanda has units spread over the states of Paraná, São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.
