Piracicaba Chamber investigates project to pass HFC to 2018 and 2019

Bill 223/2018, which relates to transfers to the Sugarcane Suppliers Hospital (HFC) for the years 2018 and 2019, was forwarded to the Piracicaba City Council during the 45th ordinary meeting of this Monday (20). The proposal is currently being analyzed.

The project is written by the executive and aims to confirm the city's accession to the operational plan of the Pro-Santa Casa 2 state program. The text of the executive authority empowers the municipality to establish an association of suppliers of cane, from 2018 to 2019, an amount of R $ 2.243.384,88. Only in relation to the exercise of this current year does the amount amount to R $ 1,121,692.44. The municipality transfers to HFC through monthly installments of R $ 93,474.37.

If the bill is approved by the Clearinghouse during regular meetings, the City Hall will also be authorized to enter into debt credit conditions for the tax year 2016 and the Sugar Suppliers Association of Piracicaba, the payments of which are chronological.


In support of the project, Mayor Barjas Negri explains that the Pro-Santa Casa-2 program financially supports financial institutions responsible for hospital health services, a regional reference from SUS, and also aims to improve the regional organization of hospital care and population access to hospital medicines.

The financing model is financed for 70% by the government of the State of São Paulo and 30% by the municipal health secretariats.
