Contrary to what Petrobras has announced, the National Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels Agency (ANP) said that prices for petrol, diesel and ethanol were closed at a high level last week. Petrol prices of gasoline increased by 0.47% to R $ 4,722, and extended the high increase of the year. It was the seventh consecutive increase. The ANP even found the liter of petrol sold for R $ 6.290.
The increase was recorded despite Petrobras selling the price of gasoline sold to distributors by 3.02% over the period, from R $ 2.2159 on October 5 to R $ 2.1490 on day 12 of the same month.
The survey also showed that the price of diesel rose 1.23% in the week. The liter of fuel came to R $ 3.712. It was also the seventh consecutive increase.
In the accumulated year, the price of gasoline increased by 15.20%, diesel by 11.61% and that of ethanol showed a small increase of 0.07%.
