Brody's reputation for penning thoughtful, articulated, original stories in music began in 2009 with the release of "Brothers", a moving song about a loved one who left for the army, which resonated both north and south of the border. Celebrated songs such as "Trail in Life", "Another Man & # 39; s Gold", "Bounty", Brody have continued to record in a unique category that he does not know and which goes beyond the conventional songs on the regular radio. heard in lyrical composition, and still retained conventional success, while Brody recently landed 22nd Top 10 hit on country radio, with "Good Goodbye." His ballad "Time" released in 2016, complains about the passage of time, is especially poignant in an era of social media with less one-on-one interaction with lovers, earned critical acclaim and a lot of recognition, where Brody & # 39; s unique ability to make people think about their actions by showing their lyrics.

Many of Brody's songs are actually written at his kitchen table and the acoustic tour is meant to replicate that intimate setting that inspires his original works: "I want to give my fans an overview of how my songs are written, how they sound their most raw form, performed in an intimate theater environment ", says Brody.

The focus on compelling telling in the country continues where the opening is in every market. Acclaimed singer-songwriter Jessica Mitchell will accompany Brody on any of the East Coast dates, including Montreal, giving listeners a taste of her genre-bending sound with songs on her recently released debut album, Heart of glass.
