Miranda Lambert reveals Split by Evan Felker: I & # 39; m & # 39; Happily Single & # 39;

Miranda Lambert and Evan Felker have split up since the beginning of February.

PEOPLE confirms that the band from Felker, the Turnpike Troubadours, has stopped their latest performances by Lambert & # 39; s The Bandwagon Tour.

The star of the country, 34, revealed that she is "happy single" in a recent interview with The Tennessean.

"Love is sometimes a difficult road and it has been a roller coaster ride for me, but I am absolutely grateful for all the ups and downs because I have played very good songs", says Lambert. "You have to take the bad parts and put them on paper and then move on to the happy parts."

She and Felker were last seen when they were photographed at the end of July while holding their hands in New York City for their show at the Jones Beach Theater.

In May several sources confirmed to PEOPLE that Lambert and Felker's relationship started after he opened with his band for three dates on her Livin & # 39; Like Hippies tour in early February, only a few months before her split from friend Anderson East was revealed in early April.

Felker blinded his estranged wife Staci Nelson, 33, with his sudden divorce application in mid-February – 15 days after he first met Lambert for the first time – according to a source.

Lambert and Felker were allegedly connected to the tour via SMS in January.

"They had never met and they had started texting and about looking ahead to play together and get to know each other and maybe they could write because she really liked writing," said the source. "It started very much about work, he was completely in the clouds, and when he went on tour, it had become a lot more flirtatious. & # 39;

On 17 August, a source confirmed that the divorce of Felker and Nelson had been completed.

Lambert recently became frank in a rare interview with HITS Daily Double about heartbreak – and heart breaking – as she discusses her emotional album The weight of these wings.

"I am who I am, I am honest about being flawed," she said. "That's all I can be, you know, I'm scoffing, I'm drinking, I'm going to divorce and letting my heart break, I break hearts."
