Thomas said that the woman in her forties had been declared dead on the scene.

Thomas said it is too early to say whether drugs or alcohol played a role.
"At the moment we are still researching on the scene in the beginning, it was clearly a busy afternoon about the crash and we now have re-constructionists on site who will determine all factors involved."
Highway 11 is closed for several hours between Harris Road and Bateman Road.
If you have information, you will be asked to call the Abbotsford police at 604-859-5225 or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
