The Kelowna fire brigade says it is investigating the fire at the house that took place on Tuesday morning 365 at Mallach Road on Highway 33.
The fire brigade says it responded to approximately 911 calls at about 5 o'clock in the morning, and when the crew arrived on the spot, the two-story house was fully involved.
Mansions in the west were protected by crews while the fire was brought under control. No residents were at home at the time of the fire and the structure suffered major damage.
The fire department says it responded with four engines, a rescue unit and a command unit.

The crews were called to Highway 365 365 Mallach Road where they found the structure stored in flames.
Damage to the two-storey house is considerable.
No one seems to be living in the home.
