Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes Release date unveiled by Nintendo: January 18, 2019

January 18, 2019 will be a good day for many Suda51 fans, as Nintendo has finally done Twitter to reveal the Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes release date. The game then comes exclusively for the Nintendo Switch, after it was delayed earlier after a 2018 release.

The plot of the game will focus around everyone's favorite otaku-killer Travis Touchdown as he is sucked into a video game console and now has to fight his way out. The game also offers multiplayer co-op, so you can play another player next to you to help you in battle.

Travis Strikes Again is the third No More Heroes game and the third after the last two on a Nintendo console, has also been on the Wii. With the JoyCon controller set-up, the game is also perfect for the Switch, unlike the Wii U, which did not have any movement control that would be good for the type of gameplay that No More Heroes normally goes for.

In No More Heroes you often have to use movement controls to swing and load your sword. With the Wiimote and the JoyCons that were on the original Wii and the Switch, you could do this, so Nintendo consoles are probably the best to really play the No More Heroes games as originally intended.

The game was originally planned to come out sometime in 2018, but for reasons we do not quite know yet, the game has been postponed until January 2019, but fortunately that is not much further away, if you can afford to wait a while or five months.

But again, the release date of Travis Strikes Back: No More Heroes is on January 18 of next year, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
