The national government has authorized an increase in fuel prices for the month of September. In the case of gallon gasoline, the adjustment will be $ 36 and the ACPM of $ 101 due to the rise in oil prices in international markets and the increase in refined indicators in the Gulf Coast of the States market. States.

In the case of the city of Neiva, the gallon of gas will cost an average of $ 8,918 and the ACPM $ 8,337 is reported by the Ministry of Mines.

Similarly, the gallon of gasoline in the city of Bogot costs $ 9,339, Medellín $ 9,280, Cali $ 9,353, Barranquilla $ 9,057, Cartagena $ 9,023, Bucaramanga $ 9,144, Villavicencio $ 9,439, and Ibagué $ 9,282.

The adjustment increase was presented in June, according to the report from the Ministry of Mines.

The Ministry of Mining and Energy reports that from 5 September 2018 the reference prices for fuels will be adjusted after the last change in the month of June. The price for the country's 13 main cities, in the case of current motor gasoline, will have an average variation of $ 36 extra pesos per gallon, and in the case of the ACPM, an average variation of $ 101 extra pesos.

The increase in reference prices is mainly due to the increase in internationally refined indicators on the Gulf Coast (US) market, the main reference market for Colombia; as well as the adjustment of the values ​​of the income to the producer of ethanol, the biofuel that is used in the mixture with current motor gasoline.

The Ministry of Mining and Energy continues to apply the fuel price policy on the basis of criteria of efficiency, stability and aimed at "producing conservative and conservative production" in a way that guarantees the quality and supply of fuels with responsibility in Colombia.
