"Gris" was born in three hands: that of Roger Mendoza and Adrián Cuevas, two ex-programmers of Square Enix and Ubisoft who were busy programming "videojuegos de asesinos", and those of the Catalan illustrator Conrad Roset, whose aesthetics was reflected in the game, says Efe Marco Albano, who is responsible for the musical part.

The efforts of the makers have focused on "shaping sensations", combined with "games of perspective, colors" and the development of puzzles and other complex tests.
