Prague – CSSD chairman Jan Hamacek has promised to resolve the dispute over the appointment of MEP Miroslav Poche (CSSD) to the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs by mid-October, according to sources at a Friday meeting of the broader Social Democratic leadership. He informed the chairman in his report. The CSSD agency has subsequently not accepted any other resolutions. Negotiations, which were not attended by all members of the party, lasted about two hours.

By allowing the resolution of the dispute only for the period after the municipal and senate elections, the Bureau recommended the previous meeting of the party committee. Some party members before the talks expressed concern that, for example, the exchange of the Poche Social Democrat in Prague could jeopardize election results in the capital.

Zeman did not call Poche at the end of June, although Prime Minister Andrei Babiš (ANO), in accordance with the coalition agreement with the CSSD, told him. After a few days of suspicion about the constitutionality of the president's actions, the castle and Burin's office explained that Babis had made an alternative proposal to Zeman, where, in the case of Poche's refusal, he demanded that Hamacek, who also The Minister of the Interior is responsible for the management of Czech diplomacy.

Zeman said in mid-July that he saw the question of the occupation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs closed. How long Hamas will manage two departments at the same time, leave it alone. The position of Hamacek as head of diplomacy indicates temporary, since the last deadline for the duration mentioned several times the end of the summer holiday.
