On Friday morning, a car crash with pedestrians in Ostrava was reported on the emergency line, where rescue workers and police officers immediately took the place.
"Information about the incident was received by the emergency services before 10 am and two medical emergency services were assisted", said spokeswoman for the Moravian-Silesian rescue team Lukáš Humpl.
The car crashed the woman (74) and the man (83). The woman was unconscious, according to witness testimony, but with the doctors she later communicated, her condition was witness to a possible concussion. In addition to head injuries and other scratches, the rescuers still suspected pelvic injury.
"The affected people have therefore secured their pelvic bandage, put them in the vacuum mattress and then taken them to the Ostrava City Hospital, where they were transferred to emergency surgeons," added Humpl.
Even the man had to be taken to the hospital after the first treatment. In the accident, he was wounded on his head, his hands and his leg. "The Rapid Medical Assistance Team prepared him for transport, transported it to the university hospital in Ostrava and handed it to the emergency department," confirmed Humpl.
