The public interest organization of the Shoah monument in Prague is trying to build a monument from 2013 onwards. The reconstruction project is an exception to the closure of the building, which applies to the entire brownfield area of Bubny-Zátory. According to the association, the station building is a platform with a permanent exhibition, educational program & # 39; s, seasonal fairs and a meeting space.

According to the spokesman for the Prague City Hall, Vít Hofman, the foundation stone should be laid this year and the first work started. "However, it will be necessary to complete other documents needed for construction," said CTK.
The city council recently approved a study of three million crowns to design the future use of the Holešovice brownfield with an area of 110 hectares. In the zoning plan, the Bubny-Zátory is run as a so-called development area intended for development. According to the ideas of the current city council, there should be a concert hall next to the houses and an administrative center for civil servants is considered.
Construction in the area could start in four years, according to the management of the city. It is a coordinated construction involving the city, the state and private investors. Building competitions must be mentioned on individual buildings.
Drumsticks are together, for example with the Žižkov freight station or the Smichov train station with one of the so-called major development areas in the metropolis. The owner of a piece of land, Orco Property Group, plans to build a new quarter with apartments, offices, schools or health centers on a brownfield. In general, there should be 1.2 million square feet above the ground.
