In another context, journalist Omar Rabi` Yassin said he had contacted Sereno, the South African Sun Downs team striker and star, to know the latest developments in his negotiations with the Al-Ahly club.
Omar Rabih Yassin confirmed in the “Number One” program on the Al-Nahar channel: “Sereno Agdali has come very close to Al-Ahly and Al-Ahly wants to join the player this summer.
He continued, “Al-Ahly is aggressively trying to take up Sereno, and if Al-Ahly does not resolve the Sereto negotiations within 48 hours, negotiations will be delayed until the next winter transfers.”
He explained, “Sereno and his agent declined to appear in the media out of respect for the Al-Ahly Club and the Sun Downs Club.”
He concluded: “Sereno will be a replacement for Geraldo and everyone knows it.”
Private sources revealed that there has been a breakthrough in Al-Ahly and Sun Downs’ negotiations in recent hours with the latter’s player, Augustine Sereno.
