Mohamed Saafan, Minister of Manpower, said that there is a plan for the employment of illegal workers after Eid al-Adha, according to the guidelines of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi to protect the irregular work and provide a helping hand.
He added, "Saifan", in a press statement, that there was no database for the inventory of irregular labor, and the attempts were rather to restrict it was a meager number that does not represent real figures, and gave a ministry "protection "to reduce irregular work, and In just 3 months, 2.3 million workers were counted towards the end of April, representing only 25% of total irregular employment to 14 million, but it is a positive start to the inventory and registration process.
He pointed out that mechanisms will be set up to ensure this group, and stresses that the employment of this category of workers is at the top, after the completion of the process of categorization and categorization, qualitatively and geographically, literally and professionally, to get in touch stand with all ministries and stakeholders in collaboration with the Egyptian trade union organization, Eid al-Adha, to hold special meetings with them to guide the operation of such work.
"The worker who does not have a vessel teaches him, and urges the rest of the unregistered workers to voluntarily register in the irregular labor departments of the personnel departments in the provinces, when they see before their eyes what is really being done for them. ," he said.
On the other hand, "Saafan" said that the unemployment rate in the second quarter of this year had dropped to 9.9% from the first quarter and reached 10.6%, indicating an improvement in the productive climate with positive figures .
