President Sisi arrives in Beijing for an official visit at the invitation of his Chinese counterpart



President Abdul Fattah al-Sisi arrived in Beijing on Wednesday for a four-day visit, during which he will hold important talks with senior Chinese officials.

President al-Sisi will be present at the summit of the cooperation forum between China and Africa, which will take place on 3 and 4 September.

The visit includes a meeting between Chinese President Sisi and his Chinese counterpart to discuss aspects of joint cooperation and strategic partnership between the two parties, he also meets the Chinese Prime Minister during the visit and also meets with representatives of large Chinese companies for their mutual cooperation. and ways to increase their investments in Egypt.

The visit will also include a summit between the President and his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, to discuss bilateral cooperation and the strategic partnership between the two parties, he will also meet with the Chinese Prime Minister and will also be representatives of major Chinese meet companies to discuss mutual cooperation and ways to increase their investment in Egypt.

A reception for President Sisi will be held in the Volkszaal, followed by bilateral talks between President Al-Sisi and Chinese President Xi Jinping on ways to improve bilateral relations in all areas and issues of mutual interest.

The signing ceremony of a number of joint cooperation agreements between Egypt and China will be followed by a dinner in honor of President Al-Sisi.

President Sisi has visited China four times since he took office, the first in December 2014, when President Sisi made his first visit to China after his election as President of the Republic, during which he met Chinese President Xi Jinping.

The second visit was in September 2015, when the Sisi visited Beijing to celebrate the National Day of Victory and the 70th anniversary of the end of the Second World War. The Chinese President met on the occasion of the Great Hall of the People and the third visit in September 2016. As a special guest at the G-20 Summit, at the invitation of the Chinese President, whose country holds the current presidency of the group.

The fourth visit was in September 2017 at the invitation of the Chinese President to participate in the strategic dialogue on the development of emerging markets and developing countries at presidential level on the sidelines of the 9th Brix Summit Summit under the title "A stronger partnership for better future "The group included five countries with the world's fastest-growing economies, India, Brazil, China, Russia and South Africa, which are hosted by China in Xiamen.
