A proven winner with the new Hero 16K sensor
At the Gamescom 2018 show in Cologne, Logitech launched its latest e-sports oriented PRO Wireless gaming mouse, an already proven winner in the rising e-sports market using the new Hero 16K sensor, reaching 16,000 DPI and with an impressively lightweight of 80 g.
Measuring 125×63.5x40mm and weighing only 80g, the PRO Wireless gaming mouse from Logitech G has a specially designed light chassis and uses Logitech's Lightspeed Wireless technology with 32-bit ARM technology. The HERO 16K sensor can reach 100 to 16,000 DPI, has zero smoothing, acceleration and filtering, can accelerate more than 40 G and accelerates more than 400 IPS.
As you can see on the images, the Logitech G is an ambidextrous mouse and comes with removable buttons on the left and right sides. We had a chance to try it out and it is probably one of the most comfortable, ambidextrous mice we have held and which is impressive light, something that works for many pro-gamers.
Logitech G-boys wanted to say that the company has designed this mouse for over two years because the e-sports boys are very picky, and they also had to make both boys durable and useful, so the design was well thought out and both the plastic and the buttons are made extra durable, suitable for more than 50 million clicks, in contrast to the usual 20 million.
The Logitech G PRO Wireless also supports the Logitech Powerplay and has a 1-zone Lightsync RGB.
Since this is a wireless mouse, Logitech has also equipped it with a larger battery, suitable for more than 48 hours or constant use in lighting and more than 60 hours when the lighting is switched off.
The PRO Wireless gaming mouse is already a proven winner because it was used by Profit from London Spitfire, an e-sports gamer that won the MVP.
"We have always believed that wireless would evolve, so that esports professionals could play and win with our wireless devices," said Ujesh Desai, vice president and general manager of Logitech Gaming. "We have players who have been using this mouse for months in competition, including Profit from the London Spitfire at the OWL Championship, and it is a proven winner."
In addition, Logitech also announced that the G Pro gaming mouse will also be upgraded in terms of the new Hero 16K sensor, new flexible cable while maintaining the same proven design.
The Logitech G PRO Wireless Gaming Mouse and the Logitech G PRO Gaming Mouse with HERO sensor are expected to be available in August 2018 from global retailers at suggested retail prices of $ 149.99 and $ 69.99, respectively.
