Sony brings back his beloved Aibo robot dog and this time it comes with cloud-connected artificial intelligence (AI).
The robot boy can learn and recognize faces and also develops a personality in the course of time, remembering which actions make the owner happy.
The techepooch was originally launched by Sony in 1999 and killed in 2006.
The renewed First Litter Edition, which is the sixth generation of the robot, will be offered for sale in September with a dazzling American price tag of $ 2,899 (£ 2,259).
Thanks to the new cloud-connected AI technology and advanced image sensors, Aibo can learn new tricks through interactions, events and even the changing seasons.
And instead of just sitting around the house, the adorable companion will actively seek out the owners and even respond to pats and scratches on the head.
With two OLED screens for the eye, the cyborg dog packs a wide range of sensors, cameras and actuators, allowing them to move in a lifelike way.
Together with the robo dog, the all-in-one bundle New Litter Edition contains a three-year AI cloud plan, a collection of robot dog toys and a memorial dog tag.
The cloud plan means that the daily life experiences of Aibo are uploaded to an AI engine that determines the unique personality of the dog.

Sony has bullied the beloved robot dog for the first time at the CES tech show in Las Vegas in January.
