Pay to walk in nature? The appearance of two parking meters on a parking lot in the valley of Aure, in the Pyrenees, is controversial, even before it is put into use.
These parking meters are located in the municipality of Aragnouet, near Saint-Lary, at the foot of the nature reserve of the Neouvielle massif and its lakes, popular with walkers and tourists. On its Facebook page, the Free Pyrenees Association (Alipy) regrets "extra access to the mountain that is being paid".
"It is a roar," adds Serge Dulout, co-president of the association, in 20 minutes. Publication on social networks has been shared more than 6,000 times and has received many responses.

According to the Alipy, it pays almost ten euros to park in this parking lot. For Valérie Dridi, co-chairman of the association, the prize is & # 39; enormous & # 39 ;, she condemns France 3 Occitanie. It does not believe in the reason of the local authorities who "want to reduce the impact on the environment and manage the flow of tourists".
These timestamps can be used this summer, says the Alipy.
