8% of recipients do not seek work

Twelve percent of job-seekers do not seek active employment, but this percentage falls to 8% among beneficiaries of unemployment insurance, according to a study published by Pôle emploi on Monday.

The operator, who generalized his control teams for work in 2015, published the first results at the end of 2017, according to which 14% of the persons checked had been written off due to insufficient job search. But these figures were not representative of all job seekers, as more than half of the respondents reported or because they were part of a targeted population.

This time the employment office focused on jobseekers who were randomly checked, a sample that was considered more representative.
