A man was shot dead shortly after midnight in Plonévez-du-Faou (Finistère) and his wounded wife. The couple was focused on his house as he left for work, according to a source near the study. The shooter is actively sought.
"They were people who were not a problem, very ordinary, people who work well," said the Mayor of Plonévez-du-Faou, Guy Rannou, who went there. He said that the 25-year-old badly injured was "out of danger". The companion, 44 years old, was a baker in Quimper.
The research was entrusted to the research brigade of Châteaulin (Finistère). An autopsy has to be carried out this Friday, said the parquet Quimper. Justice believes that the couple was not the target of chance. Important resources are being mobilized to find the shooter, reports West France.
Plonévez-du-Faou is a rural town with about 2,000 inhabitants, located in the center of the Breton department.
