A deadly fire destroyed a building in the Saint-Roch quarter of Nice on the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, killing one and injuring several others.
The incident was declared around midnight on the fourth floor of this residence, rue Acchiardi de Saint-Léger. After checking the flames around 2.30 am, the firefighters found the lifeless body of a 62-year-old woman. A total of six people were admitted to the hospital and 26 people were bothered by the vapors. The police were called in when several dozen people at the foot of the building disrupted the intervention of firefighters who robbed headphones and a radio.
