They hope to start work at the beginning of 2019. Volunteers from the Rotonde roundabout, Vallee du Loir, owner of the site, look forward to the result of the lotto heritage.

Almost 500,000 euros should enable them to start the repair work on the roof. Its 2,700 m², full of holes, endangers the building. "Then, once the building is out of the water, we have time to do the rest of the work," said Bruno Duru, chairman of the association.

Curiosity, waiting for the customers

"We could reach 3,000 visitors this year compared to 1,400 last year," said Catherine Duru, one of the volunteers who guides the audience: "The visits are free, but the public is encouraged to leave a donation. In search of sponsors because the heritage lotto will not suffice The overall reconstruction of this roundabout in the late nineteenth century is estimated at 2 million euros.
