After the demo of Köthen: attacks on police investigation against right-wing demonstrators

AOn their way home they allegedly attacked several people, including two police officers: after the demonstrations on Sunday in Köthen, the federal police investigated various suspected right-wing extremists.

On the return trip from Köthen, slogans of a group of 23 people were scanned at the Magdeburg central station and various crimes such as assaults were committed, as reported by the federal police on Monday. One official was then beaten and beaten, one second also attacked.

The police forces called for reinforcement and were soon able to plant seven suspects in the vicinity of the main station. Here, too, the men made considerable resistance. Investigations were initiated, among other things, for theft, assault, insult and resistance against law enforcement officials.

A week after the death of a 22-year-old in Köthen in Saxony-Anhalt, there was another right-wing demonstration and protests from leftist groups on Sunday in the city. The appeal of the right-wing alliance Zukunft Heimat from Brandenburg, who organized the demo together with Pegida and other groups, was followed by about 1,400 people. According to this initiative, left-wing initiatives gathered about 850 demonstrators. According to the police, the demonstrations were largely trouble-free.
